Westmount Wallabies
We are a 100% volunteer run soccer program in Halifax, NS. Our coaches teach the fundamentals of soccer, teamwork, and sportsmanship through fun soccer drills and activities.
The 2026 season will be open to children born in
2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 (Must 3 by July 1, no exceptions).

Volunteering With Westmount Wallabies
Westmount Wallabies is a community-driven soccer program in Halifax, NS. Coaches and administrators are all on a volunteer basis and our core team rotates every few years (mostly because our kids age out of the program and we let someone else take over).

About practices
What do we need to bring?
- Size 3 soccer ball
- Water bottle
- Comfortable sneakers/runners
- Hat
- Sunscreen
Do we need cleats or shin pads?
Regular sneakers are the best option. This is to avoid potential injuries because getting accidentally stepped on by cleats really hurts!
Shin pads are not necessary.
What happens if it rains?
If the fields are open, the practice is on!
If the fields are closed, then the practice is cancelled.
We will also send an email and post to our facebook page by 4:00 PM to notify everyone.
About registration
Our plans changed, can we cancel?
We understand that plans change, and this year’s cancellation deadline is 11:59 PM on Friday, May 9th, 2025. Cancellations before, and on this date will receive a refund minus credit card processing fees. Registrations and fees paid after this date are final and non-refundable.
